Proteins are polymers of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) linked via α-peptide bonds. They play a vital role in the function and regulation of the body’s tissues and organs, including muscle protein synthesis. The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of protein for healthy individuals is 0.8g/kg/day.
For optimal training adaptations, it has become increasingly evident that protein intake should be increased to at least 1.4–1.6 g/kg/day ¹. In an effort to meet these intakes, supplementation is beneficial. For optimal muscle protein synthesis, evidence shows that it is important to consume protein before and after a workout. Post-training protein intake has been demonstrated to play an important role in optimising physical performance and positively influencing the resistance and endurance recovery process ¹.

PROMOTE MUSCLE GROWTH AND RECOVERY
ISOPEPT protein is a rich source of all the essential BCAA, containing the highest known levels of any natural food source. BCAAs are metabolised directly into muscle tissue and are effective for skeletal-muscle protein synthesis during and after exercise. They help to replenish decreased energy levels and assist with growth and repair of lean muscle tissue ². There are 20 amino acids, 9 of which must be obtained through diet:

INCREASED ENERGY

Therefore, an electrolyte blend of potassium, calcium and magnesium has been added to help relieve cramps, reduce muscle soreness and rehydrate after a workout ⁵.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE (WPI) AND WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE (WPC)?
Both proteins will have beneficial effects, how you may decide between the two will be based on when you are intending to take them. WPI is best taken shortly after a workout as it is absorbed rapidly, making it a good choice for those wanting to refuel with protein straight after training. This assists with fuelling muscle growth and assisting with recovery.
